Safeguarding consultancy and training
I am an experienced safeguarding professional having worked in a variety of roles. As a volunteer, I have been in the position of working in situations where concerns were raised about children. I have also managed teams with safeguarding responsibilities, involving training front line workers, developing polices and systems and supervising staff.
As a manager for a large voluntary sector organisation, I managed a large service spread over a number of sites. We were commissioned to offer support services from an initial point of contact, for example after a baby was born in a family, through to high level work with Children’s Social care. This involved multi-agency working as well as working at different tiers of intervention.
